Day 1: Wednesday – July 12th We will be leaving from the Dieppe Irving, facing Champlain Place, at 8:00 hrs to catch the Marine Atlantic ferry North Sydney and sails towards Argentia, Newfoundland. The cabin is included but dinner & activities on the ferry are at your own leisure. Don’t forget to bring the overnight bag.
Day 2: Thursday, July 13th Arrive in St. John’s around lunch time. After dinner we will take a guided tour. You will be driven to the National Historic site of Cape Spear, where you may walk thru a World War II gun battery, be at the most easterly point of North America and a chance to visit the oldest standing light house. Then we will head back into the city to enjoy the beautiful view on top of Signal Hill. Other stops include Quidi Vidi Village, Government House and an orientation of the shops and restaurants of downtown St John’s. Then back to the city where the guests are on their own to relax and check out all the local pubs on George St. The Hotel stay will be at the St. John’s Delta. Delta by Marriott- 709-570-1623
Day 3: Friday, July 14th We are going to drive to Bay Bulls to hop on our paid excursion of whale and puffin boat tour. Then back to the city to be on your own again for the evening. The Hotel stay will be at the St. John Delta 709-570-1623
Day 4: Saturday, July 15th We head to Bonavista where John Cabot landed in 1497 and we are going to check Ryan Premises National Historic Site and see the replica of the ship Mathew & the light house. Then we will be headed for our Hotel in Terra Nova Resort, Port Blanford.
Day 5: Sunday, July 16th This day, we will drive to Twillingate. Then we will visit Prime Berth Fishing Museum, then will be headed to our hotel Mount Peyton Resort, Grand Falls-Windsor.
Day 6: Monday, July 17th This will be mostly a driving day as we make our way to Deer Lake, along the way we will visit the Salmonid Interpretation Centre located in Grand Falls Fishway. This will be 2 hours visit. We will spend the night in Holiday Inn Express, Deer Lake
Day 7 & 8: Tuesday & Wednesday, July 18-19 We will take the scenic drive through Gros Morne National Park and continue to our overnight destination Hotel North – St Anthony
Day 9: Thursday, July 20th Driving for our stay to Cornerbrook, Comfort Inn.
Day 10: Friday, July 21th We will make our way to Port aux Basque for the night. Hotel – Port aux Basques 1-709-695-2171
Day 11: Saturday, July 22th We will take the Port aux Basque ferry towards North Syney. Holiday Inn – Sydney.
Day 12: Sunday, July 23th Should be back in Moncton between 4-5
The cost includes tickets to all ferry crossing, cabin for the Argentia ferry, some meals, admission to all attractions, step-on Newfoundland guide, and sightseeing cruise-puffing/whale, accommodations.
Price per person based on double occupancy
A deposit of $200.00 per person is requested when booking with full payment by May 31th.
